Hello,
My name is Kasyn Creighton. I am so happy that you're here! The Barn at Tinsley Crossing is my absolute dream and I have been so blessed to grow this business with the help of my family, friends, and this handsome man next to me, my boyfriend Josh.
Here is my story on how The Barn got started and where it's going. . .
My Story
My name is Kasyn Creighton, the proud owner of The Barn at Tinsley Crossing. I am a former student of Eastern New Mexico University (go hounds) with a bachelor's degree in Agriculture Business. My roots run deep in agriculture and I love all things animals, farming, and ranching. I grew up on a cattle ranch in Elida, New Mexico and when I was not playing sports or doing my other extracurriculars, I worked at my family's business, Creighton's Town and Country. I love the Family business with all of my heart, and I still work there to this day. I'm very fulfilled from my main job, but my heart is in "The Barn".
All of my life I had it "all figured out". I was going to finish high school, get a college degree, and then work at the store for the rest of my life. This plan seemed perfect, and to me, it still is pretty great, only with a few minor changes. In July of 2020, my sister Kynzi got married. With so many friends and family so close to home, she and her husband decided they wanted to get married in the Eastern New Mexico area. Kynzi and Tate decided to get married at the Elida City Park and it was a gorgeous event to say the least, but after the wedding, I realized there was a big need for a facility like The Barn in our area. Shortly after the wedding, I began to hunt for a piece of property that would fit my vision. My grandad Johnny knew about this vision and one day in October he called me and told me to meet him at the location of the barn because he had found the place to make my dreams a reality. After a few weeks of thinking, securing finances, and asking God for direction, I made the purchase and began the renovation of the barn. The entire remodel process was such fun for me, but it was nothing compared to the joy that hosting events brings to me. I'm thankful that I had the courage to take a risk and go for it. The Barn has been a place for weddings and events of all kinds since 2021, and they are all so unique and fun to host. The venue is my hobby, my passion, and a true labor of love. I have been so fortunate to have the help and support of my family, and especially my boyfriend Josh. I used to consider The Barn a "one woman show" but it is so far from that now and I am so lucky.

I truly can not wait to serve you at your event whether its near, or in the future.

I can't thank my people enough for the support they have shown me thus far. This is a dream come true and I look forward to seeing how it will continue to be a blessing for YOU, your family, my family, and future generations after us.
-Kasyn
